shopping carts
I see a lot of shopping carts on the side of the roads on sidewalks my suggestion is that if a bylaw or police officer see someone pushing a shopping cart on street or sidewalk should stop and charge the person for theft

Imagine picking on the most unfortunate of our society. Oh karen. It’s time you privately pay for the police

Certainly advise them it is theft and tell them to return it immediately to avoid being ticketed.
We can also advise stores of location of carts in the neighborhood so they can pick them up. -

The cost of groceries has nothing to do with carts

I have no problem with someone borrowing a cart to push their stuff home. But take it back when you're done. If you keep stealing and dumping carts the cost of groceries is going to go up to because those carts cost the grocer's money to replace.

The person who made this post may very well be a Karen, however other commenters are suggesting that the homeless are the only people who push carts around the city, which is not true. People who do not own vehicles, who walk to get their groceries, abandon their carts in front of my home. The same people over, and over, every week, because the pavement ends at my house, they then carry their groceries the rest of the way to where they live. At any given time there are 3 carts from the local nofrills infront of my house. These people are not homeless, they are mofriggin lazy Karens y'all! The homeless should not be punished for using carts to move their belongings, however this does not give lazy people the right to steal shopping carts and abandon them where ever is convenient. By law officers should ticket them, not the homeless, the Karens!!!

Only ever seen homeless people pushing shopping carts , if you so hot headed that you want to take the last thing they own from em too, let them stay at your house or something . Just seems to be me like the city of Barrie actually wants the homeless to remain homeless

Yeah you’ll get lots of money from those homeless. Maybe they can pay via debit(touchless). Really?

So your idea is to punish the homeless and downtrodden. Karen you’re too privileged
