With the widening of Mapleview, they put in a median to block turning left on Dean rather than lights like at Mapleview and Madeline. The city claimed this was to stop speeding. This has been an annoyance ever since.

1. Dean is a no street parking street (another bad city decision)

2. Madeline is a street parking street.

Now, we have to turn on Madeline and dodge cars around bends and drive on side streets that are plowed less and have more kids playing etc. Why divert traffic to put kids at risk rather than have us use our own street? Now to mention, blocking the other wide of Dean from more easily accessing the library or Zerhs place and having a safe way to even walk across the street. They now have to jaywalk across which is not safe!

This median and these decisions have only caused dangerous habits from jaywalkers to cars doing U-turns to get around the median.
