Barrie should expand its bylaw enforcement capacity.
Complaints about noise, smoke and dogs off-leash routinely go unanswered. In spite of paying taxes, residents are restricted in the use of both private and public spaces. These issues are not just nuisances; they represent real health and safety problems for Barrie residents. The city seems to have given up and abandoned its citizens to the abuses of those neighbours who choose to ignore the bylaws.
#hypocracy. Whining about “anonymous” not using their name while being anonymous
Anonymous has all kinds of criticism, but not the fortitude to make those comments using his name.
Adriana and Arthur.
Of course it’s a paid for use beach now. So they’re in their rights and if they live here it’s already covered. You can’t ticket them when we charge a “fee” what is supposed to be public for everyone

Many by laws are are unenforced. Go along the beach area in the summer and check out the dogs on the beach, people smoking on the beach, bikes using the board “walk”; cars parked in the area where only vehicles with boat trailers are allowed etc. Etc. If all these offenders were ticketed, the extra byl aw officers would pay for itself.
HJ Syf why should we puish them when they are smarter and avoid the pay for park tax scam, meanwhile you leave garbage everywhere. Not the out of towners who are at least putting money into our economy
HJ Syf commented
Many people come to our city on the weekend and park illegally all over, especially during the summer. It would be much appreciated if they all got tickets.
No thanks. Us Barrie residents don’t want to live in a dictatorship because you have anger issues
