    Emergency Services need quick access to a fire hydrant when needed.
    If you’re able to please keep the hydrant clear of snow accumulation to prevent delays.
    Currently there are hydrants that are completely buried with only the “flag” marking its location.

    Adding windrow service will take much longer to clear the roads in Barrie and although they are cleared relatively quick for the amount of snow we get people still say it's slow.
    It also requires a very large investment in equipment which means taxes will go up, so if people are okay paying more taxes then they can hire a contractor to remove the windrow from their driveway.
