I live on 50 Quinlan Road, L4M7B1. There is no house on opposite side. In this case the plow can change the direction to accumulate snow on opposite side. This is not related to any budgetary concerns. This is a simple fix which can be enforced with instructions to city snow plowing contractors. I take almost 1 hour to clean-up this snow. So, it’s better if city of Barrie implements above idea, when city has options to solve a problem without allocating extra resources.
