I am a new homeowner here in Barrie, I now live on a relatively new street Franks Way just off of Burton in the South End. Between the stretch of 16 houses there is a small permitted area for on-street parking of 5 vehicles. Over the span of the several months living here this small area is CONSTANTLY full resulting in residents of this street and their guests parking in the "No Parking Area". Multiple neighbours have been issued tickets simply because their driveway is full and so is the very tiny area designated on the street itself.

This designated area could easily be doubled in size without jeopardizing the safety of the drivers and pedestrians around. Attached is a picture of the street and the highlighted area is the parking area in question. There are various single spots on the opposing curb but that side should become a no parking zone and the highlighted side opened up as having cars on both sides can create dangerous circumstances. Homeowners should not receive tickets for parking outside of their house one car space outside of the 5-car designated area when it is full.
