For a city of this size it is very disappointing to see that there is only one splash pad available. (Downtown location is more of a fountain not splash pad). Even Orillia has more and better options! Locations like sunnidale park or strabane park both have plenty of room to accomodate even a small pad. The playgrounds at city parks could use some upgrades as well. I strongly recommend looking at other municipalities to see what is offered and ask that some upgrades are considered. As a long time resident I would love to see some of our tax dollars utilized to upgrade playgrounds for our little ones. Thank you for your consideration
